Central Command

Absence (German: Abwesenheit) describes periods in which employees are unavailable — such as vacation, sickness, or other leave. In many organizations this is maintained in Timebutler. For scheduling, capacity planning, and transparent team communication, an up-to-date picture of absences is just as important as open vouchers or booked hours.

Central Command can connect to Timebutler and include absence information in the operational overview. Instead of merely opening separate tools side by side, a control layer emerges on which finance and ops teams can see how availability and running orders interact. That reduces misunderstandings around deadlines and improves the prioritization of open items.

As with Lexware data, the rule applies: Timebutler remains the source of absence data. Central Command mirrors and consolidates. Sync jobs and caches keep the views performant. For companies with multiple teams or legal entities, the central readability of absences is a practical building block of the command center — complementing vouchers, revenue, and time tracking.
