A quotation (German: Angebot) is the Lexware voucher type for sales proposals to customers. Technically it often appears as quotation and passes through typical statuses such as draft, open, accepted, or rejected. In agencies and mid-sized teams, the quotation is often the first documented step in the sales process, before an order confirmation or invoice follows.
Central Command consolidates quotations across multiple Lexware instances. Instead of searching each tenant interface individually for open or accepted quotations, teams see statuses, amounts, and instance affiliation in one shared control layer. Filters and sorting help set priorities — for example, which quotations still need a response or which have already moved on to the next process step.
For operational control, it is crucial that quotations are not viewed in isolation. They relate to contacts, follow-up vouchers, and later often to time entries or projects. That is why Central Command shows quotations in the context of the multi-instance dashboard and uses local caches so the overview stays fast even with multiple tenants. Lexware remains the System of Record: changes to the quotation are made in Lexware, while Central Command mirrors and orchestrates the overview.
