Lexware is, in many German companies, the system for vouchers, contacts, and accounting workflows. Invoices, quotations, and order confirmations are created there; statuses and amounts are maintained there. For Central Command, Lexware is therefore the System of Record: the authoritative source of commercial truth.
Via the Lexware Public API, Central Command reads data for dashboards, caches, and workflows. Multiple instances can be connected in parallel. The command layer does not replace Lexware but places a control layer on top of it — including links to Clockify and Timebutler.
Anyone who understands Central Command understands this division of labor. Lexware remains the domain system; Central Command becomes the situation room. API limits, permissions, and clean instance configuration determine stability. The result is less tool-hopping and more overview for teams with a complex tenant landscape.
