A tenant (German: Mandant) is an organizational unit in accounting or an ERP system — for example, a legal entity or a managed client account. In Lexware landscapes, the tenant frequently corresponds exactly to one instance with its own vouchers and master data. Agencies typically manage many tenants in parallel.
Central Command translates tenant work into multi-instance control. Instead of thinking only within one tenant, a cross-section emerges: which tenants have overdue invoices? Where are quotations stalling? The tenant remains legally and accounting-wise separate, while joint steering becomes possible.
Language should be chosen precisely here: tenant means the organization, voucher means the document, instance means the technical connection. In practice the terms overlap, but in the glossary and in the UI the distinction helps. Central Command respects tenant boundaries and still delivers speed across all of them.
