Instance (German: Instanz) is the short form for a connected Lexware environment in Central Command. In practice it often corresponds to a tenant or company account with its own API credentials. Every instance brings its own vouchers, contacts, and permissions. That is exactly why multi-tenant work needs clear instance boundaries and, at the same time, an overall view.
In the dashboard, metrics can be summed across all instances or filtered to a single one. Charts show proportions; lists carry instance columns. This keeps it traceable where an open item comes from. Configuration, keys, and syncs run per instance, while reports can optionally span all of them.
The language of "instance" helps teams stay precise both technically and organizationally. It avoids confusion with individual vouchers or projects. Central Command turns instances into the building blocks of the command layer: separated where law and accounting demand it — merged where control needs speed.
